HierComm Networks provides five levels of service – two for residential / home office subscribers and three for business / commercial subscribers. Residential service provides Internet access primarily for email, web searches, and entertainment by the subscriber and other occupants of the subscriber’s residence. Business service provides additional Internet tools, services, and online capacity intended for non-residential subscribers who need to provide large amounts of information or make various transactions over the Internet.

While residential accounts can be used for small office / home office (“SOHO”) business activities, the subscriber may be asked to upgrade his or her level of service if network usage exceeds four times the average of residential customers. In order to sustain high throughput for all of our network users, we may have to restrict subscribers’ participation in certain Internet activities such as peer-to-peer video and audio streaming which consume large portions of network capacity.

From time to time, HierComm may modify its services under each of the following plans. We will do our best to inform our subscribers in advance and explain the changes.
